Mega Venasaur revealed!

The moment we've all been waiting for- MEGA POKEMON! Pokemon has officially released Mega Venasaur and Blastiose! Ok, so here's how mega evolution works: You place the Mega card on top of it's not mega EX card (which counts as evolving). So yes, this means that they have released another EX that is basic card but is a stage two Pokemon (you can see that post by clicking here). In short, this means that Venasaur and Blastiose are now basics. You can see the images of these below.

Venusaur-EX from XY Blastoise-EX from XY

See what I mean? I know, it's crazy. So, now, you would then evolve it by placing the Mega card on top of it. So they would evolve into these:
Mega Venusaur-EX Mega Blastoise-EX

OK, these Pokemon are like no other for sure. To start it off, just look at them. That is pure epicness right there! They look BOSS! They look like something right out of a Japanese monster movie.
As for the HP it is through the roof. These guess are walls! Venasaur has 230, and Blastiose has 220! This makes them the highest hit point Pokemon of all time. It will take for ever to knock these out!
And finally, lets look at their attacks. Crisis Vine is an amazing attack that requires [G][G][G][C], which is a bit of energy, but it deals 120 damage, which is always quite good, but here's the great part- the opposing Pokemon is paralyzed and poisoned! Team this with Virbank city gym could dominate the metagame. In addition, it is a grass type, so it does great against common water types such as Keldeo and Blastiose (both mega and the boundries crossed energy acceleration one). While M (standing for Mega) Venasaur is a awesome,  I wouldn't overlook Blastiose yet either. For three Water energy, you can attack for 120 and it does 30 to two of your poppets benched Pokemon. While it isn't as great as M Venasur, it can start attacking one turn sooner than M Venasaur since it only requires three energy, and it still does 120 as well as 30 to two benched pokemon, which is always great to weaken possible foes.

Prizes

Many people have wondered how many prizes your opponent will take, which may really be a game changer. Many feared that, being more powerful than normal EXs, that they would cost three prize cards. I am happy to announce that that will not be the case! They are just considered normal EXs, and will only be worth two prizes! The only downside to Mega cards is that they have to evolve. But this may be helped by a new card shown below...

SODA IN POKEMON!!!

Ever since the release of Black and White introducing high-hitpoint basics, players have avoided using Pokemon that have to evolve because it taked to much time to get out all of the evolutions and such. Well, those days are no longer.

In addition to the rule change (which you can learn more about by clicking here), which made evolutions some back since whoever goes first can't attack, which would result in knocking out the basic before it evolved, there is a new card that will make the evolution process easier:

EVOLUTIONARY SODA!!!

Here's what it says:

Evolutionary Soda - Trainer
Item
Choose 1 of your Pokemon that wasn’t put into play this turn. Search your deck for a Pokemon that evolves from that Pokemon and put it on that Pokemon. Shuffle your deck afterwards. You can’t use this card on your first turn.
You can use any number of Item cards during your turn.
This is basically a professor elms training method that doesn't use up your one supporter use. So, you place Venasuar EX on your bench and then next turn play this card, search you deck for M Venasaur, and then evolve. This is great and can greatly speed up evolution. But I know what your thinking, and no, you can't play this on your first turn or the turn you put down that basic. It would be great if it did, but I'm afraid that that isn't the case. But it's still great!

Well, that's all I have for today! I can't wait for these new Mega cards to come out so I can give them a try! They certainly aren't like any other cards!

Bye Bye Unova

Hi Pokemoners. I'm sad. I'll just come right out and say it. Do you wanna know why. Because...We're now completely into Kalos. About three weeks ago, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y were released, first bringing us into Kalos and bringing us the transition. Then  they switched from Black and White episodes to the beginning of X and Y. And then, legendary treasurers was released, which was the last TCG expansion for Black and White before the X and Y starter expansion. *Sigh*
It really is kind of depressing for me. I started playing the card game in Black and White, then I bought my first Pokemon video game, which was Pokemon black, and then for the first time I watched Pokemon on Cartoon Network. Guess what the series was. Pokemon Black and White. Wanna know what my first cool looking card was? A full-art Reshriam. The first Pokemon I ever caught was a Patrat. The first team of bad guys I defeated? Team Plasma. So, I'm gonna guess you see my point.
Oh well. X and Y is pretty awesome though. But it will never fell the Same as Unova. Bye Unova!

EXPLODING BED! MC unlogical logic

Hello Minecrafters! Any player, from expert to noob, knows that when it gets dark outside, you can crawl into your warm little bed and watch it turn day in a matter of seconds. And they know that they can only get in bed at night, and that it won't let you do that in the day. But one day I was in the nether. I had built an awesome fort, but everytime I died I was sent back to the Overworld, next to my portal. But my fort was far into the nether, so it was never easy to find again. So, finally, I wanted to set my spawn point. I placed my bed, but then I wondered something. If it was never day or night in the neterland, then when or how do you sleep? Well, I layed down in my bed, and what I found was not what I expected...

BOOM!

The bed blew up in a fiery inferno! I took some exploding damage, as always, but I just could't believe what had happened! From this  point on I used beds as super-bombs for alternate dimensions. I destroyed half the Nether, clicking on beds left and right! This explosion makes a large hole, even bigger than that of TNT! And it left everything around it on fire, which, in the Nether, lasts for ever on the Netherack. Look out Pigmans! You've got a new worst enemy- a bed!!!

This also works in the End, so I hear, but I have yet to test it myself. I plan to have a demo on what happens, but in the mean time you can try it for yourself and become the King of the Nether! >:)

The destructive power of- A BED!!
